MPLA Donates Essential Supplies to Needy Community in Zango District Under the leadership of Bento dos Santos Kangamba
Luanda, Angola – Under the leadership of MPLA member and businessman Bento dos Santos Kangamba, the MPLA delivered various essential supplies to the Santa-Paciência neighborhood in the Zango district on Thursday, 10th of February. This is a community where the presence of the State is almost nonexistent, lacking almost everything.
In representation of the ruling party, the MPLA, Bento dos Santos Kangamba brought over 25 tanks of clean water, hundreds of basic food baskets, and specialist doctors who attended to approximately 500 people at the health fair set up at the location.
The pressing concerns of the community were heard by the businessman, who promised to bring the concerns, such as the lack of water, schools, and electricity, to the attention of the Central Government. Kangamba, accompanied by the district administrator of Zango and a delegation of his party members, pledged to work with the Provincial Government of Luanda to address the difficulties faced by the people of Santa-Paciência, where the lack of water and electricity has made daily life a hardship for the residents.
The Santa-Paciência neighborhood is located in the Zango district, in the municipality of Viana, adjacent to Centralidade Oito Mil. It has an estimated population of approximately ten thousand people, according to the coordinator of the residents’ commission in that community.
This donation is a demonstration of the MPLA’s commitment to improving the lives of the Angolan people, especially those in disadvantaged communities. The party will continue to work closely with the government to provide assistance to communities in need.
