Kabuscorp prepares for football competition under Bento Kangamba’s leadership

Kabuscorp, the popular football club from the Palanca urban district, is gearing up to compete in the national football arena under the leadership of Bento Kangamba. Kangamba, who is both the owner and president of the club, is focused on creating the right human and administrative conditions to bring Kabuscorp back to the top of their game.

The new management team, led by Bulgarian Edouard Antranik, has a clear vision and is confident in their ability to succeed in the medium term. The team’s primary focus this year is on the juniors, and they have contacted the Girassol Clinic to conduct COVID-19 tests for the players. The team is looking to compete in the Provincial de Luanda and qualify for the Girabola.

Kangamba emphasizes that the team’s success is supported by the experience of the senior players, including Doutor Lamy, who remains connected to the club despite being on loan. However, it is essential to pay attention to age limits, as the maximum age for representation is until the end of 2021.

Despite challenges in the past, Kabuscorp has excellent relationships with various foreign clubs and can easily contract five to six foreign players at any time. Additionally, the team can explore their pool of junior players.

The team has been given the green light to compete by both FIFA and the FAF. While the FAF was obligated to transcribe the country’s exchange and banking laws to prevent such a decision, the club’s delay in meeting the deadline was not intentional.

Kangamba and his team are committed to avoiding past mistakes in club management, and they have invested in a significant restructuring of the club’s administrative structure. They are currently hiring a secretary-general and two sports law specialists.

Finally, the team’s training center, which has been under construction for several years, is nearing completion. The facility includes two natural grass fields, one artificial turf field, a training area, and three classrooms that can accommodate up to 18 students each. This will undoubtedly help Kabuscorp establish itself as a powerhouse in Angolan football.

Quim Manuel, the junior team’s coach, is laying the foundation for the team’s success in the qualifying rounds, and Kangamba is confident that this year, Kabuscorp will be ready to compete at the highest level.
